Hello, and welcome to Crown Medical Clinic. My staff and I are honored to play a role in your health and well-being. Our goal is to provide you with a valuable and unique experience. We will do our best to meet your personalized medical needs at each visit.

This clinic was conceived and born out of an unmet need in our community for increased access to healthcare in the wake of the devastating COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the pandemic, many clinics closed their doors to patient care or moved to a tele-health model which often is suboptimal for ideal patient care.

I have seen first-hand how challenging it is for many individuals to get the healthcare they need. Far too many people in this country obtain their non-emergent medical care in the Emergency Department of local hospitals which are not designed for that purpose and contribute to ever-increasing healthcare costs.

I grew up in Red Bluff and I am proud to call it my home. As a physician with decades of dedicated experience in both hospital-based acute care medicine and ambulatory outpatient clinic settings, I maintain board certification in both Urgent Care and Obstetrics & Gynecology. As the founder of Crown Medical Clinic, I am highly motivated to make your visit the best patient-centered experience possible.

In his classic play, The Merchant of Venice, William Shakespeare wrote: “HOW FAR THAT LITTLE CANDLE THROWS HIS BEAMS! SO SHINES A GOOD DEED IN A WEARY WORLD.” And so it is that Crown Medical Clinic aspires to be a candle in our community.

Welcome to Crown Medical Clinic. I am excited to be a part of this team and look forward to providing care to the people of this and the surrounding communities. I genuinely believe in the philosophy of this clinic and look forward to having an opportunity to provide you with quality healthcare and a personalized experience that will promote healing and well-being.

Having been in healthcare for more than half my life, I have seen first-hand the difficulties people experience when trying to access healthcare in our rural communities. At Crown Medical Clinic, we want to help bridge that healthcare gap while providing you with a valuable and personal healthcare experience.

As a healthcare provider, I pride myself in caring for my patients the same way I would want someone to care for myself or my family. Your time is valuable. I will not spend time on a computer during your visit as I want to get to know you and personalize each visit, so you leave feeling you have been heard and are on the road to healing.

I am a California native and have lived in Tehama County most of my adult life. I have worked as a registered nurse in acute care hospitals for years in many different areas of nursing, including women’s health and emergency medicine. I received a Master’s degree in nursing from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, in nursing leadership and nursing education with a teaching credential in nursing education.

After obtaining my Master’s degree in nursing, I knew that I wanted to do more. I wanted to have the ability to help my patients to a greater degree than I could during our short interactions in the emergency department. At that time, I returned to college and attended Sonoma State University’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Consequently, I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and care for people of all ages. Since leaving the emergency department at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, California, I have worked full-time at a primary and urgent care clinic where I had a full panel of primary care patients and cared for the needs of both my primary care patients and those who came in on a walk-in urgent care basis. I continue to work as a Nurse Practitioner in an Urgent Care clinic as well as here at Crown Medical Clinic.

I am excited to be at Crown Medical Clinic. I believe our community needs another option for healthcare, something different than has ever been offered before. At Crown Medical Clinic, we strive to give you a meaningful patient-centered visit every time, and I’m excited to be part of this team!
